Local Storage
Scroll Debt is designed with an "offline-first" architecture. This means that all the data you generate—scroll sessions, missions, settings—lives directly on your smartphone's internal storage.
No Cloud Sync
We do not sync your data to any external cloud, server, or database. This minimizes the risk of remote data breaches.
Device Security
Because your data is stored locally, its security is tied to the security of your device. We rely on the operating system's (iOS) built-in sandboxing and encryption to protect your app data.
- If your phone is locked, your Scroll Debt data is encrypted by the OS.
- Other apps cannot access Scroll Debt's data without your permission.
Backups
Since we don't store your data on our servers, we cannot restore it if you lose your phone or delete the app. We recommend using your device's standard backup system (e.g., iCloud Backup) to ensure your app data is safe.
